To take effect on and after
Thursday, March 14, 1861. Trains leave Galveston for Houston Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of each week, at 7:45 A. M.,
arriving at Houston 11 A. M. Thursday's train leaves at 10 A. M., or
on arrival of New Orleans steamer |
All the above trains make sure
connections the same day at Harrisburg, with the Buffalo Bayou, Brazos
& Colorado Railway, for Columbus, La Grange, Bastrop, Austin, San
Antonio, and all Western and Northern Texas. |
Baggage will be checked at
steamboat landing, and conveyed to depot free of expenses. |
Train leaves Houston for
Galveston at 5 P. M. -- taking Passengers arriving by Houston &
Texas Central and Houston, Tap & Brazoria Railroads; and at
Harrisburg, Passengers arriving from the West by the Buffalo Bayou,
Brazos & Colorado Railway, reaching Galveston at 8:20 P. M. |
Passenger and baggage conveyed
through Houston from Central Railroad to Galveston train, free. |
On Sundays, train leaves
Houston at 9 A. M. and Galveston at 2:30 P. M. |
Fare each way, to and from
