| The Indianola Courier notices
the steady progress of the work on the railroad to connect that town
with the railroad from Lavaca to Victoria {San
Antonio & Mexican Gulf RR}. The grade has reached the depot, in
the town; in a short time the bridge over the bayou will be finished and
the cross-ties laid over it; and then the spanning of the culverts on
the upper part of the grade will be commenced. |
