| A part of Longstreet's corps
has reoccupied Fredericksburg, but the indications are no attempt will
be made by the enemy to hold that point. |
| The rails on the
Fredericksburg and Aquia Creek Railroad {Richmond,
Fredericksburg & Potomac RR} have all been torn up by the rebels
and sent to Richmond, together with every other species of property in
that section available for military purposes. |
