Memphis & Little Rock Railroad |
We learn from the Little Rock
papers that on the 26th ult., the road from that place to Duvall's
Bluff, on White river, was completed, the last spike being driven in
by W. E. Woodruff, sr. The cars are making regular trips now to White
river, a stream navigable all the year. The directors will turn their
attention to the completion of the middle divisions which, when
finished, will connect Little Rock with Memphis. |
