Notice |
By a resolution, and order of
the Board of Directors of the Mississippi, Ouachita & Red River
Railroad Company, of November 27th, 1861, I am authorized to sell any
lands situated in the Champagnolle Swamp Land District, (sold or
granted to said Company be an act of the General Assembly of the State
of Arkansas, approved 16th day of January, 1861.) Said lands to be
sold at a price not less than two dollars per acre, and to receive in
payment therefor, Bonds or money of the Confederate States of America,
and War Bonds or Treasury Warrants of the State of Arkansas, and to
execute deeds to purchasers. All persons having pre-emption claims
upon any of the said lands are hereby notified that if said claims are
not redeemed within ninety days from this date, their rights under
their pre-emption will be forever barred. |
