| Railroad to Jackson |
| The Brandon Republican says a
number of hands have been put to work on the railroad between there
and Jackson {the Southern of Mississippi RR},
repairing the damage done by the Yankees, and we learn that it will be
in running order by the first of January, provided the river don't
rise so as to prevent them from building the bridge across Pearl
river. |
