Notice to Defaulting Stockholders |
At a meeting of the Directors
of the M. E. P. & P. Railroad Company {Memphis,
El Paso & Pacific RR}, held at their office in Paris, Texas
on the 17th and 18th inst., it was ordered that Stockholders who
refuse to settle the calls due from them, either by cash or note, be
immediately sued. |
It is hoped that all will
settle promptly, as there is and has been for some time, a large force
upon the road and no available means in the Treasury to meet demands
from contractors. |
Very respectfully, |
Wm. Bramlette |
Sec'y and Treasurer |
