Advices from Martinsburg give
the following intelligence: The rebels have succeeded in taking down
and removing to Winchester two of the Baltimore & Ohio railroad
company's locomotives. They also sent to the same place a portion of
the machinery belonging to the company's work shops, breaking and
disabling the remainder. |
It is stated to be their
intention to take up sufficient of the railroad tract to connect
Winchester with Strasburg. |
