The Alabama & Mississippi {Rivers}
Rail Road will be ready for the cars, we
understand, about the 1st of December. Several months, however, will
probably elapse before the bridge at Demopolis, and the trestle-work
from that point to McDowell's landing -- 3 or 4 miles below Demopolis
-- are completed. Passengers, in the meantime, will be taken from
Demopolis to said landing by steamboats. |
