Stock Holders' Convention at Shelby Springs |
On Wednesday, the 8th day of July at the
Shelby Springs, the Stock Holders of the Ala. & Tenn. River Rail Road
company, will hold their annual convention for the purpose of electing
officers, receiving a report of the operations of the road for the last
twelve months, and transacting other important business. The stock of
every one should be represented. Twelve months ago, for want of
representation of a majority of the stock, there was no convention
holden, and therefore no officers elected. All those who own or control
stock are earnestly requested to attend the Convention or send in their
proxies. A failure to hold a Convention on the 8th of July will work a
serious injury to the Company. Then let every one who cannot attend in
person sign a proxy and let some one represent their stock. |
