To take effect on and after Thursday, March
14th, 1861 |
Trains leave Galveston for
Houston, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of each week,
at 7:45 A. M., arriving at Houston 11 A. M. Thursday's Train leaves at
10 A. M., or on arrival of the New Orleans steamer. |
All the above Trains make sure
connections the same day at Harrisburg, with the Buffalo Bayou, Brazos
& Colorado Railway for Columbus, LaGrange, Bastrop, Austin, San
Antonio, and all Western and Northern Texas. |
Baggage will be checked at
steamboat landing, and conveyed to Depot free of expense. |
Train leaves Houston for
Galveston at 5 P. M. -- taking Passengers arriving at Houston by
Houston & Texas Central and Houston Tap & Brazoria roads; and
at Harrisburg, passengers from the West by the Buffalo Bayou, Brazos
& Colorado Railway, reaching Galveston at 8:20 P. M. |
Passengers and Baggage
conveyed through Houston from Central Railroad to Galveston Train
Free. |
Sunday Train leaves Houston at
3:30 P. M., and Galveston at 11 A. M. |
Fare each way, to and from
Houston, $2. To Harrisburg, each way, $1.75. |
Excursion Parties charged half
fare. |
