On and after March 14th, 1861,
Trains leave Galveston for Houston Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
and Saturday of each week, at 7:45 A. M., arriving at Houston at 11 A.
M. |
Thursday's train leaves at 10
A. M., or on arrival of New Orleans steamer. |
All of the above Trains make
sure connections the same day at Harrisburg, with the Buffalo Bayou,
Brazos & Colorado Railway for Columbus, LaGrange, Bastrop, Austin,
San Antonio, and all Western and Northern Texas. |
Baggage will be checked at
steamboat landing and conveyed to Depot free of expense. |
Leave Houston for Galveston at
5 P. M., taking passengers arriving at Houston by H. and Texas Central
and Houston Tap & Brazoria Railroads, and at Harrisburg,
Passengers from the West by the B. B., B. & C. Railway, reaching
Galveston at 8:20 P. M. |
On Sunday train leaves Houston
at 8 A. M. and Galveston at 2:30 P. M. |
Passengers and baggage
arriving at Houston from Central Railroad, to Galveston Train free. |
Freights taken at reasonable
rates and forwarded over the road with dispatch, ??? Agent at
Galveston, Harrisburg and Houston. |
Excursion Parties charged half fare. |
