| The railroad {The
Washington County RR} is now nearly completed to Brenham. The
Ranger expects the cars to make regular trips by the end of another
week, and says: |
| Preparations are making
for a grand ball to come off at this place so soon as the
passenger cars commence their regular trips. Ladies, far and near, may
expect to be ticketed. A free ride is also expected between this and
Galveston. |
