The Railroad
{Winchester & Alabama RR} |
The Confederate government has entered into a contract
with Mr. P. F. Flannery for the reconstruction of two bridges that
were burned on our Railroad last Spring by Major Dawson. From the
well known energy and perseverance of Mr. F., we may safely
calculate on soon hearing the whistle of the locomotive at the
Fayetteville depot again. Mr. Flannery desires to employ a number of
good whip-sawers, to whom liberal wages will be paid. |
