| Mississippi & Tennessee Railroad and its

| This Road, just opened, is now
making close and reliable connections with the Mississippi Central
Railroad at Grenada, and forming a direct line to the city of Memphis.
By this Line Fifty-Three miles of travel and several hours tie are
saved. |
| Passengers for Nashville,
Louisville and the North can spend a few hours in Memphis and still make
as good time and reliable connections over this Line as any other. |

time, the distance and the fare. |
| Passengers leaving the Great
Northern Railroad Depot, at the foot of Calliope street, at 7 A. M.,
arrive in Memphis at 6:50 the next morning. |
