| Louisville & Nashville Railroad Blockade |
| The Louisville Courier, of the 25th, says: |
| The Nashville Railroad and Adams Express
Company yesterday refused to take freights or packages for Tennessee or
points further south without a permit from the Surveyor of Customs. The
Nashville Railroad depot, however, is so crowded with freight that no
more could be received in any event before Thursday or Friday night. In
the meantime the matter will be brought before the courts, and we
presume an early decision will be given as to the legality of the
question. |
