| Railroad Accident |
| This morning, at 8 o'clock, the up and
down trains on the Jackson Railroad {New Orleans,
Jackson & Great Northern RR} met on the same track, at Kenner's
Station, about ten miles from this city, and a collision took lace,
which made a considerable smash of the cars, tender and engines; but
nobody was hurt. A locomotive and three cars arrived with the passengers
and mails this morning, at a quarter to 12 o'clock, instead of half-past
10 o'clock, as usual. |
