| The Liberty Gazette says that that
railroad is now finished about five miles west of the Trinity, and half
a mile of track is being laid daily in the direction of Houston.

| A call of 10 per cent. on the capital
stock of the Houston, Trinity & Tyler Railroad, payable today, the 22d
inst., is made to provide for the payment for iron daily expected. |
