This Road, just opened, is now
making close and reliable connections with the Mississippi Central
Railroad at Grenada, and forming a direct line to the city of Memphis.
By this Line, Fifty Three miles of travel and several hours time are
saved. |
Passengers for Nashville,
Louisville and the North can spend a few hours in Memphis and still
make as good time and reliable connections over this Line as any
other. |
This new Line reduces the
Time, the Distance and the Fare. |
Passengers leaving the Great
Northern Railroad Depot at the foot of Calliope street, at 7 A. M.,
arrives in Memphis at 5:50 the next morning. |
