| Convention of the Milledgeville Railroad Company |
| The Annual Convention of the Milledgeville
Railroad Company assembled at the office of the Company, in this city,
yesterday morning. |
| Eight thousand five hundred and
thirty-five Shares were represented. |
| The Annual Report of the President,
including the Annual Reports of the Engineer and Secretary and
Treasurer of the Company, were read {and} received. |
| The following Board of Directors were
elected for the ensuing year: |
| John P. King, Benj. H. Warren, Wm. H.
Goodrich, Henry H. Cumming, John D. Smith, Stephen D. Heard, Robert H.
May, Henry Moore, Thos. M. Turner, M. H. Wellborn, B. B. deGrafenreid,
M. S. Thompson. |
| After some further business connected with
the interest of the Road, the Convention adjourned. |

| Meeting of the Board of Directors |
| After the Convention had adjourned the
Board of Directors met and unanimously elected Hon. John P. King,
President of the Board. |
