It appearing to the
satisfaction of the Court that the said defendants, James A. Seddon
Secretary of War, and Stephen R. Mallory, Sec. of the Navy of the
Confederate States reside beyond the limits of the State of Florida,
to wit, in the State of Virginia. It is therefore ordered that notice
be perfected by publication for the space of four months, in
accordance with the terms of the statute in such cases made and
provided, and that the said defendants be required to plead answer or
domar to said bill of complaint, within said time or the same will be
taken as confessed against them. |
