An accident occurred to the
train of the Buffalo Bayou, Brazos, & Colorado Railroad on
Thursday last {12/22/64},
caused by the track spreading and throwing off two passenger, and four
freight cars. None of the passengers were injured, although many made
narrow escapes. The cars were badly injured, and the trains have been
delayed a day or two in consequence, but will be running regularly
again to-day. The accident took place one mile this side of Richmond.
No blame can be attached to any of the employees of the company. |
