A Sad Accident |
On Friday, 18th inst., just
after the train left Davis' Mill {Nashville
& Chattanooga RR}, Mr. Wm. Dunn, of Frankfort, Ky., and a
member of Co. A. 4th Kentucky regiment, in attempting to step from the
top of one car to another when they were in motion, fell in between
them, and the wheels passed over his body diagonally, killing him
almost instantly. He belonged to Gen. Breckinridge's division, and was
thus suddenly cut down just as that brigade had started for the
"dark and bloody ground." :Man proposes -- God
disposes." Requieseat in pace. |
