| The Complimentary Ball given
to the Directors and Contractors of the W. C. R. R {Washington
County RR}, as well as the free ride, takes place on Thursday
next, the 25th inst. |
| The daily arrival of trains on
the W. C. R. R. freighted with goods and lumber, together with the
throng of wagons and teams, adds much to the business appearance of
our little city. We hear of a number of business houses and residences
going up. |
