| Good News |
| Before our next issue, the railroad from here to White
river {Memphis & Little Rock RR} will be
completed. In a conversation with Mr. Edmondson, of Crittenden county,
one of the directors of the company, he assured us that with a little
aid the company could build the middle division next summer and give us
a continuous line to Memphis. We are now within 24 hours of Memphis;
then we could go there in one-fourth of that time. |
