The Memphis Road |
The work of track laying on
the Memphis {& Little Rock Rail} road
has commenced opposite this place. Owing to the low stage of the
river, but a small amount of the Iron has yet been brought up. Soon as
the river rises, all of the iron will be brought, and the work
prosecuted to completion. Now the whistle of the steam car is a
familiar sound. |
