We are glad to be appraized of
the following action of the Macon & Western Railroad Company, and
that they do not sympathise much in the panic about counterfeits: |
Macon, Ga., Sept. 4th, 1862 |
At a meeting of the Board of
Directors of this Company held this day the following Resolution was
unanimously adopted. |
Resolved, That this
Company will continue as heretofore to receive at its various offices
of business and upon the line of its Road, the genuine issues of
Confederate Treasury Notes of all denominations. |
