Central {(of
Georgia)} Rail Road |
Trains are now running over
the Central Rail Road to Savannah and Augusta, and leave Macon every
day at twelve, M., for the break at Oconee, where passengers are
transferred to the train below. We learn the damage to the tressel on
this side of the river has been repaired, and they are now at work on
the other side. What time will be required to complete the bridge we
have not learned, but under the impulsive management of the General Superintendent
we can safely say that not an hour will be lost. |
