The detention of the down
Passenger train on the Macon & Western railroad yesterday was
caused by the breaking of a car wheel on the up-freight Monday night,
near Bear Creek station. Some four or five cars were smashed up, and
the wreck obstructed the road for a few hours; fortunately no one was
injured so far as we could learn. The expected train arrived about 9
o'clock last night. |
