Railroad Accident |
The passenger train on the
Macon & Western Railroad, we understand, run off the track at
Howard's Station, last Saturday morning, with some damage to the cars,
but none to passengers. We have been furnished the following notice of
some official papers, which were picked up on the track after the
accident: |
Near Macon, Aug. 15, 1863 |
Mr. Clisby -- Dear Sir: You will please
insert the following notice in your paper: |
Notice -- Found on the Macon
& Western Railroad, near Howard's Station, a lot of official
papers, addressed to Col. Ed. Pickett, commanding 21st Regiment
Tennessee Vol's, and by paying for the advertisement, and calling at
the residence of H. H. Howard, he can get the same. Yours very
