Wagon Train |
A train of fifty-two wagons
from Bragg's army, passed through town on Saturday, on their way to
Americus, to gather corn along the line of the South Western Railroad,
and haul it to the nearest depots. As a general thing the teams were
in very good order. They had been four weeks on the road. We
understand there are about 150 wagons now on the road with the same
destination and purpose. |
