Important Improvement |
We are pleased to see that a
railroad connection has just been completed between the Central {(of
Georgia)} and the Gulf {Savannah, Albany
& Gulf RR} road depots. The line runs through the centre of
Liberty street, and the room being ample, no inconvenience will be
occasioned to our citizens. The advantages gained in the
transportation of heavy freights, such as engines, ordnance,
machinery, &c., will be incalculable. |
