Macon, Ga., March 19th, 1864 |
This Company will receive no
private Freight for points beyond Savannah, Augusta, or Atlanta, until
further notice. |
The South-Western Railroad Freight must be prepaid on all
things Received or Shipped to Savannah, Augusta, Atlanta, points on the
Central and Macon and Western Railroads, or to Macon, between the 20th
and 26th inst, in Confederate Treasury Notes at par. |
No Goods or Freight of any
kind, between the above dates will be delivered unless the Freight
Bill is paid at the Office before delivery. |
After the 28th inst., this
Company will receive Confederate Treasury Notes for Freight and
Passage until further notice, as follows: |
Notes of $ 5.00 at par |
Notes of $10.00 at $6.50 |
Notes of $20.00 at $13.25 |
Notes at $50.00 at $33.25 |
$100 Notes will not be
received at all. |
