Muscogee Railroad |
We regret to learn that
serious damage was done to this road by the heavy rains of Tuesday
afternoon and night. No train has since passed over it, and we fear
that it will be several days before the cars can run uninterruptedly
through, but we hope the mails will be sent on by some means. |
There is reason to fear that
the Mobile & Girard Railroad has also received serious damage
beyond Coachaleechee bridge, which was swept off. |
