Collision |
We learn that a collision took
place upon the Savannah, Albany & Gulf Railroad Wednesday
afternoon last, between the 1st and 2d stations, by a passenger train
going out and a train with wood coming in. The locomotive with the
wood train was pretty badly smashed -- the engineer receiving some
slight wounds. The loss is estimated from $2,000 to $4,000. |
