A New Scabbard |
We were shown the other day,
by T. B. Elfe, master machinist at South Western Railroad, a beautiful
scabbard for a cavalry sword, made of black walnut. It was
manufactured by the pattern maker, and when finished and mounted, will
be light and serviceable. It promises to be an excellent substitute
for steel. |
