Detention on the Central {(of
Georgia) RR} |
The mail train due here at 9
A. M. yesterday, did not arrive in consequence o an accident which
occurred to the down train on Monday night. The baggage car on the
down train ran off the track when near No. 13, and received
considerable damage. The wreck was removed as speedily as possible,
but the schedule on the Central is imperative and makes no allowance
for accidents, consequently both trains failed to make time. No one
was hurt that we could hear of. |
