Commercial & Financial Convention |
We learn from the Secretary of
the Chamber of Commerce, that he has been notified of the appointment
of Delegations from many of the leading commercial cities, to the
approaching Commercial and Financial Convention; also, that the
Central {(of Georgia)} Railroad, the
Eatonton {a branch of the Central (Of Georgia)
RR}, and the Macon & Western, have already promptly acceded
to the proposed reduction of Fare, and will grant free return
tickets over their respective Roads to all the Delegates to said
Convention, and no doubt is entertained of a corresponding liberality
on the part of other Roads not yet heard from. |
