Mobile & Great Northern Railroad |
Daily Trains between Mobile, Montgomery and
Pensacola |
On and after Friday, 15th
inst. {November 15, 1861} the
Mobile & Great Northern Railroad will be opened to Passengers and
Freight. |
Passengers over this route
will make close connection with Trains on the Alabama &
Florida Railroad for Montgomery, Pensacola and all points east as far
as Richmond and Norfolk, and west from Chattanooga to Nashville. |
Passengers will leave Mobile
daily at e in the evening, on the Company's steamer, for the Railroad
wharf on the Tensas river, and arrive at Pensacola at 1:30 A. M., and
Montgomery at 5 A. M. |
Returning, the steamer will
arrive at Mobile at 6 A. M. |
The public will find this a
cheap, comfortable and expeditious route, with new Cars and Equipment. |
