Texas Railroads |
Not withstanding the war time
and scarcity of money, we are told by our Texas contemporaries that
the work on the railroads is still steadily progressing. Latest
intelligence from Indianola represent the railroad from that place {the
Indianola RR} to intersect the San Antonio & Mexican Gulf
road was steadily and quietly going on. The Courier of that
place says the superintendent, Mr. Dudley, is deserving of great
credit, not only for his constant endeavor, but for the excellent
manner in which the work has been done. |
