A Traitor of Small Caliber |
The Louisville Journal
announces the arrival in that city of J. M. Tomeny, secretary and
treasurer of the Memphis & Ohio railroad, en route for the
East. The Journal says that while others were unfaithful, and
when it was deemed worth one's life to be loyal in Memphis, Tomeny was
true and faithful in his allegiance to the government. The truth is,
the fellow is the smallest kind of a Yankee, and ever since the war
broke out has been load mouthed in his profession of devotion to the
South. The South will hereafter dispense with the services of all such
adventurers as Tomeny. |
