Notice to the Public |

On and after August 1st, 1862;
the rates of Passage and Freight over this road will be increased from
25 to 30 per centum above present rates. All "through tariffs" with
other roads will be discontinued, and local rates charged on all
freight. |
A deduction of one half cent
per mile will be made to passengers purchasing tickets before entering
the cars. |
All freight forwarded to Way's
Bluff Depot must be prepaid, and will be received only at the owner's
risk, as from the above date that station will be used only as a flag
station. |
