In Town {Grenada,
miss.} |
We met yesterday evening, in
the city, Mr. Jones, superintendent of the Memphis & Ohio
railroad, who has been in Mississippi since the fall of Memphis,
looking after the stock of his road, which he had successfully removed
from the clutches of the enemy. It is to be hoped that the fortunes of
war will soon replace him in his former position. |
