| The Mississippian
learns that Colonel San Tate expects to have the railroad between
Jackson and Canton {New Orleans, Jackson &
Great Northern RR} in running order by the 1st of June. It will
not be many weeks before trains will be running from Canton to Manchac
provided, always, another raid doesn't interfere. |
