| At the depot of the
Mississippi & Tennessee railroad, work is progressing rapidly. The
big cut at Mrs. Leigh's is nearly completed. This cut is fifty-one
feet deep. The grading will be completed by the middle of April, and
the road finished by the first of June. The bridge across the
Yalobusha river will be commenced next Monday. |
