Railroad Accident |
About 1 o'clock yesterday
evening, as the train was coming up from Vicksburg, and when some five
miles the other side of Clinton the locomotive and tender ran off the
track, instantly killing the engineer and fireman. We heard of one
soldier also who was very badly crippled by the accident. We believe no
other injuries were sustained. {Southern (of
Mississippi)} RR |
