To Slave Owners |
We have been ordered by
military authority to connect the several Railroads leading to the
city. We are pressed to effect the connection in the shortest period as
a military necessity. We will pay high prices for slaves sent to the
work, and hope that every man that can spare a Negro will respond to the
call. |
