The Columbia Guardian
calls attention to the meeting of the railroad presidents, to be held in
that city on the 13th April next. We have no doubt it will be a very
important meeting. The exigencies of the war has interposed many
difficulties in the way of the successful workings of the roads which a
consultation may partially remedy, and many abuses that have
unnecessarily grown up, may, also, be corrected. |
