Railroad Accident |
Yesterday evening as a freight
train was coming in {probably to Jackson} from
Vicksburg {on the Southern (of Mississippi) RR},
it ran over two mules on the track, throwing off the locomotive and
mashing up some four or five cars. No personal injury was sustained by
the accident, though a lady and her child made a very narrow escape,
they being in a box car which was overturned. |
