Change of Time on the Memphis & Little
Rock Railroad |
On and after April 9, 1860,
the Regular Freight and Passenger Train will leave Hopefield at 7
o'clock and 30 minutes A. M., and arrive at Madison at 11 A. M.,
making close connection with the daily stages of Hanger, Rapley &
Co., and with the line of semi-weekly stages of the Overland Mail
Company for Taylor's Creek, Hunter's, Clarendon, Aberdeen,
Brownsville, Atlanta, Hickory Plains, Searcy, Batesvile, Little Rock,
Dardanelle, Van Buren, Fort Smith, Benton, Rockport, Hot Springs,
Washington, Arkadelphia, Brownston and Camden, Arkansas; Boston, Mill
Creek and Clarkesville, Texas, and San Francisco, California. Time to
Little Rock 30 hours. |
Tickets to
all the above points can be had of ?. ?. Kandy, office at the
Commercial Hotel, and S. ?. Knowlton, office at the Gayoso
Hotel. |
Coming East the trains will
leave Madison at 2 o'clock P. M. and arrive in Hopefield at 2 o'clock
and 30 minutes P. M., making close connection with the Memphis &
Charleston Railroad for all Eastern, Atlantic and Northern cities. |
